Working with families

At The Olive Tree, we aim to make parents feel welcome and to achieve an open, supportive relationship. In order to meet the needs of children in our care effectively, we like parents to be involved and fully informed about what happens in the nursery.

Staff at the nursery are available at all times to offer support and advice, enabling you to leave your child secure in the knowledge that they are being well looked after.

We welcome any contributions or suggestions you care to make about the nursery so that the children can be cared for and encouraged to learn to the best of our ability.

We use Tapestry to ensure you’re involved with your child’s journey with us.

Key Person

Key Person Approach

Every child and their family has their own dedicated key person who will build a warm and caring relationship with your child. They will help ensure that your child feels secure and supported whilst spending time away from home and provide you with regular updates to ensure that you are able to share your child’s early years experience.

We accept funding from 2 years+
A modern, freshly renovated and furnished Nursery & Pre-School.
A bespoke outside space with naturally resourced materials, designed by nursery garden experts.
Healthy and nutritious meals and snacks.
Access to the nursery management platform (Tapestry) to keep parents up to date in real time on their child’s progress and daily activities.
Following key areas of Early Years Foundation Stage teaching to ensure children are ready for mainstream school.
A caring, safe, and inclusive environment with qualified and experienced staff.
